WELCOME TO BE THE MISSING PIECE 14 "SPREADING KINDNESS ONE PIECE AT A TIME"

I am a Special Olympics Athlete who resides in Connecticut. I graduated from The Riverview School in East Sandwich, MA. I work for The LEGO® Group & love my job. I enjoy spending time with friends & family. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports with friends. I am a Global Messenger for Special Olympics Connecticut. Spreading the word about the amazing work that Special Olympics does is a popular topic in many of my conversations. As a vital part of the Special Olympics Connecticut community, one of the highest honors I received was being the recipient of The Eunice Kennedy Shriver Award. This is given to an athlete who exemplifies the true meaning of Special Olympics. I am also a participant of Special Olympics North America Storytelling Series. I have had the honor of delivering the Keynote Speech for Special Olympics Connecticut's Annual Awards Dinner, Connecticut Interscholastic Athlete Conference, and Law Enforcement Torch Run Kickoff. I live with my beloved cat Birdy. I am so excited to bring Be The Missing Piece 14 to all of you.

Hello Everyone, I am passionate small business owner and crafter who believes in the power of community and giving back. As the founder of River Stone Cottage Gifts LLC, I channel my creativity into handcrafted items that bring joy to others, while navigating life as a Type 2 diabetic with resilience and determination. When I’m not busy creating in my workshop/office, you'll find me cruising around in my Jeep, soaking up the outdoors and finding inspiration in nature. In my heart I love to help others shine, I want everyone to win!!! I support my friend Robin by supporting her and her meaningful cause like Be The Missing Piece 14. I understand that everyone has something unique to offer, and I’m excited to help build a platform that celebrates diversity and spreads kindness one piece at a time. I have been married to my husband since 1999, and we have 3 beautiful children (all adults now) who we raised to include everyone. It doesn’t hurt to be kind!

Ram Tysoe is a professional musician from Hartford, Connecticut. Ram has a hobby for videography and editing which he uses to help his friends make videos, like Robin’s! When he’s not teaching or in rehearsal, you can find Ram either reading, coming up with new Magic: The Gathering deck ideas, or spending quality time with his partner, Emma.

Birdy is thrilled to make her debut as Be The Missing Piece 14 Mascot & Director of Supervision. She is feisty, fierce and a wonderful asset to our team. In her spare time, she like to chase after mice, sleep, and scratch the floor. She says her favorite thing to do is wake up her mom in the morning so she can feed her. As you can see, she takes her job very seriously and keeps everyone on task.
